Masks Off!

 1 John 3:1-3

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

Is God Angry With the World?

Psalm 7:11 God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Is God Angry With the World?

Is God Angry With the World?

During the Coronavirus pandemic, one question you may have asked is, “Did God send this virus because He is angry with the world?”

In the past God sent many plagues when He was angry with a nation: He sent plagues on the Egyptians until Pharaoh allowed the people of Israel to leave; He sent a plague that killed 70 000 people when King David disobeyed God; He sent a three year-long drought on northern Israel when they worshipped other gods.

But did God send the Coronavirus because He was angry with us?

I don’t know. But  I do know this: God hates sin. God is a righteous God, and the Bible says that He is angry with the wicked every day! Have you ever lied? Have you ever hurt someone out of anger? Have you ever disobeyed your parents?

We have all done wicked things. In fact, the Bible says that we all deserve death because of our sins!

Is there any way to escape this punishment of death?

Yes! God sent Jesus Christ to take our punishment instead of us. He died so we can live. He did even more: He died so we can live forever!

What will you do with this gift?

The Question of Life

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

What can I do with my time? This lockdown is driving me crazy!

I’m sure many of us have asked this question during the world-wide lockdowns caused by the spread of the Corona virus. Do you have a lockdown in your country? If you do, you might feel like you have so much time you don’t know what to do with it. Maybe you feel very bored because you are missing your friends. What can we do to escape this boredom?

What is the Truth about life and death? What would you say? You can use your time to answer this question properly!

Many people are scared of getting Corona virus and dying. Maybe you won’t die now, but you will die one day. Are you ready to die? What will happen to you after you die?

Do you fear the answer to this question? Jesus talked about this and answered, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”

How can you get eternal life? If you have eternal life, will you fear dying?
