David – Ps 142:7

“Bring my soul out of prison, That I may praise Your name; The righteous shall surround me, For You shall deal bountifully with me.” David had to flee from king Saul who wanted to kill him. Do you know the story? How did David respond?

From Fugitive to King

David was a Shepherd boy, a Refugee, a Fugitive, a Composer and a King. When we spent time with refugees they told us their stories. Some stories were gruesome, bad, some were stories of desperation. Some of the refugees we spent time with, lost family members, belongings, hope. They were desperate, no jobs, no houses, no school for their children, no one caring. Others were still hopeful saying, “Maybe we will be able to go back, maybe we can start all over, maybe…”

They were so thankful that we came to them, listened to their stories, telling them that there are still people that care, praying for them.
